Did you know that Home Depot is the world's largest home improvement retailer? The reason why, is because it operates in ten Canadian provinces, 49 States, Puerto Rico and Mexico. It employs an astonishing 27,000 people in Canada alone. The Home Depot has something for everyone from the do-it-yourselfers and home improvements, to the construction and building maintenance professionals. When you walk into Home Depot you are hit right away with a variety of selection. There are things from building materils, lawn and garden supplies and home improvement products.

Not only is the Home Depot the largest in the world but it also likes to help out around local communities. Established in 1992, a team called Team Depot was organized. It consisted of volunteers from the communities to help the communities. They reach out to communities where associates live and work and help in providing a better place to live not only for them but for everyone around.

Home Depot isn't always alone when it comes to helping out the environment. They have partners like KaBOOM, an organization to help rebuild community play areas. They also have administered competative annual grant programs that help with financial problems with certain projects. Home Depot and KaBOOM just want everyone to have a safe place to play and enjoy life.

Make sure to check the Home Depot website for more information on how to help out with your local communities.
