St. Vital Centre

The St. Vital Centre is a large shopping mall located about a half hour drive from downtown Winnipeg. This giant mall has everything to choose from and seeing is how it has a flat ground layout, it makes it real easy to move around. Inside you will find over 160 shops offering something for everyone. Some of the major stores inside include Wal-Mart, Chapters bookstore, the Gap and Manitoba's only Disney store. It also holds the Silver City St. Vital movie theatre. One thing you will notice about the St. Vital Centre is the beautiful architectural work and commissioned artwork all along the inside walls. If you get tired of shopping and feel the need for food, then check out the food court that has two 50 foot fireplaces and a sky lit promenade. For those in need of assistance getting around the mall, there are wheelchairs, strollers, lockers, a mall-walking program. transit schedules and parenting washrooms.
