The University of Manitoba, established in 1877, is the oldest institution of higher learning in Western Canada. With over 27,000 students, The University of Manitoba offers more than 250 programs from 20 different faculties. It also includes more than 120 undergraduate and 50 doctorate degrees. Many of the undergrad areas include things like Agriculture, Education, Fine Arts, Science, and Music. The University also offers graduate degrees in Family Services, Community Health, Community Organization, and Child Development. Just like many other universities, The University of Manitoba offers its students a chance to study abroad in places like Japan.
