Velvet Glove Dining Room  The Velvet Glove Dining room has recently been honoured for its outstanding cuisine and service. EnRoute Magazine recently listed the Velvet Glove as one of the Top 100 Restaurants in Canada (January 1999). In addition to that distinction, Hotelerie Magazine listed the Velvet Glove as one of the Top Ten Hotel Restaurants in Canada (March 1999). Also recipient of the Three Diamond Award by CAA. The Velvet Glove features a broad spectrum of cuisine. In addition to traditional Canadian cuisine (Chateaubriand, Rack of Lamb, Prime Rib, etc) they also include on the menu mouthwatering Regional Specialties such as Lake Winnipeg Goldye (freshwater fish) and Pickerel, Wild Boar and Buffalo dishes.
